Valves
A valve is a mechanical device that controls the flow direction of liquid, typically oil, in a hydraulic circuit. Essential for hydraulic systems, they regulate motor speed and cylinder movement. Directional control valves, also known as switching valves, manage the flow, acceleration, and speed of actuators, allowing for starting, stopping, and pausing liquid flow. A hydraulic valve directs oil flow based on spool position, while a pressure reducing valve maintains consistent flow by lowering pressure in specific circuit areas.
